God sent His Son to introduce you to Himself, but first he wants you to know a few things about yourself...

First, realize you are loved by God.

In the Bible we learn that God loves everyone regardless of their background, race, age or any other factor. God loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

(John 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Second, realize you are a sinner.

(Rom 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

No one is perfect. We ALL have broken God’s commandments. This is called sin. The Bible tells us that sin separates us from God.

(Isa 59:1-2) Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Third, realize there is a price to be paid for sin.

The consequence of our sin is death. It’s more than physical death, but eternal separation from God in a place called Hell.

(Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Finally, realize Jesus died to pay for your sin.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus died on the cross, not because He was guilty, but because we are. He died for the sins of the whole world. If you believe on Him, He can and will save you today and give you eternal life in heaven. He has power over the grave as demonstrated in His resurrection.

(Rom. 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jesus said… (John 11:25) I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
